What is the difference between a Premier location and an Original location?
All Movie Taverns feature a great selection of food and drink including alcoholic beverages, which are delivered to your seat in the auditorium. At our Original locations, you place your order and pay at the counter in our lobby. At our Premier locations, your order is taken in-cinema by your personal server prior to the movie, and there is also a call button if you change your mind about dessert.
How is this different from other cinemas?
We offer a great selection of food and drink, including alcoholic beverages, all served in-cinema at an affordable price.
Movie Tavern locations offer all-digital projection, state-of-the-art sound, online ticket purchase at movietavern.com and advance tickets for all of the hottest movies and Real D 3D.
Do you offer reserved seating?
We currently offer reserved seating at the following locations:
- Movie Tavern Aurora
- Movie Tavern Hulen
- Movie Tavern Horizon Village
- Movie Tavern Sandy Plains Village
- Movie Tavern Northshore
- Movie Tavern Four Seasons Station
We are also considering reserved seating for our other locations, as well.
Is it really expensive?
No. Our ticket prices are comparable to all first-run theaters and our food and beverage prices are very affordable.
What is Breakfast & A Flick?
Breakfast & A Flick is Movie Tavern’s early showing of the latest films with a wide menu of fresh pancakes, eggs, bacon, Bloody Marys, Mimosas and all of your favorite breakfast foods. Breakfast & A Flick is available at all Movie Tavern locations. (May vary slightly due to state liquor laws.)
What is Retro Cinema?
Retro Cinema gives our patrons a way to see Classic movies the way they were meant to be seen: on the big screen. Two days a week we dedicate a screen at select locations to show these classic movies. Click here for list of participating locations and upcoming titles.
What is Tavern Arts?
Tavern Arts is a collection of opera, concerts, plays and special film presentations that are offered at select locations. We partner with several companies in order to bring events such as the Metropolitan Opera, special concerts, and limited release films right to your local theatre. Tavern Arts is available at Hulen and West 7th in Fort Worth, Tex. and Williamsburg, VA. Visit movietavern.com/special-programming for more information.
I have a problem with an online ticket order, what should I do?
If you received a confirmation page, print it and take it with you when you go to pick up your tickets.
If you didn’t receive a confirmation page, check your e-mail for a confirmation. If you didn’t receive a confirmation e-mail, check your spam filter folder and see if the confirmation is in there.
If you still don’t have a confirmation e-mail, at any time, take your ordering credit card with you to pick up your tickets at will call. Or if your location has a kiosk, at any time, pick up your tickets at the theater kiosk using ordering credit card.
What is your refund policy?
Up until the show date and show time, patrons may go by the Movie Tavern Box Office, request that their tickets be pulled from Will Call and refunded back to the credit/debit card that was used for the initial purchase. Credit/debit card must be presented for verification. Confirmation number is helpful in locating ticket order.
Information required: Name, phone number or email address, how many tickets purchased, what movie title, last four digits of credit/debit card used and/or confirmation number of transaction, and reason for refund request.
